Kids who were in for long treatments would often vary in behaviour through the day. I was one myself; sometimes you'd huddle under a blanket and sleep for an hour, then sit up to eat lunch, spend a few hours reading, talking, or in my case, drawing - and then slump down for another nap.

Sometimes, I'd find myself focusing on one patient, and capturing their changing mood and energy levels through the day. Or at least, the bits of it I saw, when I was awake.
